Established in 2009, Velo Cycles is a community-oriented bike store located in Carlton North on the Capital City Trail, one of the busiest bike paths in Melbourne. Our bike shop in Melbourne serves the inner suburbs of Carlton North, Brunswick, Clifton Hill, Docklands, Parkville, Abbotsford, Princes Hill, Fitzroy North, Northcote, Brunswick East, Collingwood, Thornbury, & North Melbourne.

We stock a variety of bikes, bike parts, bike apparel and accessories from trusted brands including Jamis, Brompton, Kona, Surly, ByK, Brooks, Ortileb, Nutcase, Lazer and many more. Our range of bikes includes commuter bikes, adventure/gravel bikes, touring bikes, mountain bikes and kids bikes as well as a small collection of high-performance bikes and custom-builds. With a wide range of models and sizes to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect bike to suit your needs. All of our bikes and accessories are available to buy either online or in-store and you can test ride any bike for free.
Maintaining the quality and performance of our customers’ bikes is what we love most. We have a team of certified mechanics working on-site daily to ensure your bike stays in great condition for as long as you ride it. We offer on the spot servicing as well as a range of full service packages to choose from. We also have a fleet of bikes available to hire for a maximum 7 day period.We value our connections with customers and are committed to ensuring the best possible life for your bike. That’s why we give FREE membership to our Velo Love Club (valued over $500) *to every customer who buys a bike from us. Benefits include 1hr FREE mechanic servicing per year, 10% off parts during service, guaranteed access to loan bikes, priority emergency servicing and members only shopping nights.
